Our Mission

The Stellar Smiles team pride themselves in creating a first-class dental experience for all patients. As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. That’s why we focus on thorough exams and individual risk assessment to prevent problems before they happen. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we care also concerned about your overall health.

Insurance

Our office is committed to helping you maximize your insurance benefits. Because insurance policies vary, we can only estimate your coverage in good faith but cannot guarantee coverage due to the complexities of insurance contracts. Your estimated patient portion must be paid at the time of service. As a service to our patients, we will bill insurance companies for service and allow them 45 days to render payment. After 60 days, you are responsible for the acceptable forms of payment. After 60 days, you responsible for the entire balance, paid in full. Visa, Master Card and cash are acceptable forms of payment. Our office will assist you in acquiring the financing on an individual basis.

Appointments

Your scheduled appointment time has been reserved specifically for you. We require 24-hours notice if you need to reschedule your appointment due to unforeseen events.

Dr. Carlos Jones, DDS

Dr. Carlos R. Jones began his journey into dentistry with a BS in Biology from Alcorn State University. He then received his DDS from Howard University in 2001. Dr. Jones went on to complete the general practitioner residency program at Harlem Hospital Center and King’s County/Downstate Hospital before moving back to the Washington DC area. In 2004, Dr. Jones began working in private practice and later opened Stellar Smiles Dental Care in S.E. Washington, DC in 2011.

Dr. Jones specializes in the placement of dental implants with rigorous training and experience in understanding the dynamics of a smile, the preservation of a healthy mouth, and the creation of tooth replacements. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the International Dental Implant Association, both organizations that provide excellent continuing education for American dentists.

Dr. Jones is committed to protecting the health and well-being of all District residents, young and old. He focuses on offering individualized care for each patient by providing thorough examinations and presenting patients with the most efficient and affordable options for their care.

When Dr. Jones is not creating smiles in his office, He is creating smiles through volunteer dental work and social betterment activities here in the United States and abroad. Dr. Jones also enjoy outdoor activities, working out and spending time with his wife and family.
